BIOGRAPHY

Tim Laigaie, Nick Passio, and Joe Altomari are 1FM.  A band formed on the premise of enjoying every second of what it means to make music.  There are no rules.  There are no boundaries. And, most of all, it had better be a blast while it’s done.After the dissolution of Victory In Numbers in 2011, Nick and Joe were searching for what to do next.  Some time passed, some growing up happened, and the urge to create came back.  Long time friend Tim Laigaie, who was also a veteran of the area music scene, already had several independent releases under his belt.  The idea was to come together, and create something we would like to listen to.  With no pressure from labels, or managers, or other people, the group got together and wrote more than a dozen songs quickly.  After listening to what was made, 1FM decided to pick the best songs and put it out there.  After all, why the hell not?We are so proud to share what we have made.  This is what is inside of us.  We hope everyone will see what we see.  With some help from our other friends and family, we cannot wait to continue making and releasing music.  Tell your friends, because this is only the beginning of… whatever the next chapter is.
